Day 4

Hi Everyone,
Well I went to the gym last night, ended up riding the bike for 30 minutes and walking on the treadmill for 15 minutes. Then hit the pool and spa. It was a motivating sight, we have a lady who is paralyzed from the waist down that lives on our floor. She was at the pool last night, we watched her getting into the water and swimming laps for at least a half an hour. She is definitely a warrior. Its been a pretty mellow day so far, I'm going to wait till tonight to go to the gym, Rebecca wants to take a yoga class.

Last night was my first night with my new CPAP machine. It went pretty well, I slept a little over 3 hours then woke up for an hour. Then I went back to sleep for a couple more hours. The only issue I have is that water poured on my nose twice. It has a humidifier, and I think the condensation pooled and came out when I rolled over. So I practically waterboarded myself. Besides that I slept pretty well.

I had meatless cheeseburgers last night for dinner. I don't know if anyone else has tried them before, but I couldn't tell the difference between them or the real thing. Maybe I need to go vegetarian.....ya right.

Well I'm going to get going, I'll have a new video either tonight or tomorrow for you.

  2. Hey Chris! Just thought I'd check out your blog, and I noticed a few funny coincidences:

    1) We have the same initials. ;) [Carrie Lannette Chaney]

    2) We're both from Irvine. [But I used to live in the Irvine that's in KY.]

    3) September 15th is a big day for both of us! It's my birthday. lol. :P

Best of luck with the blog, once again! :)

  3. I have a weight problem too. Though not all my life, I was put down for my weight my whole life. You don't have to go veggie to eat healthy and lose weight. My problem isn't what I eat it's how much I eat. I have always eaten alot, I just had a more active life when I was younger. What can I say I love food. You should try some Rachael Ray recipes. She is the most amazing at what she does. Cheap, easy, and healthy things to eat. I love her meatza pizza. It sounds kind of weird at first but it is soooo YUMM-O. If you do want to eat something a little unhealthy, for instance, brownies, use apple sauce instead of oil. It taste so much better too! Good luck in your weight loss!

  5. Hi Chris! I'm thinking you must have found my blog from my yo-yo diet post the other day. I'm glad you did! I'm looking forward to following you and watching you succeed! you will! I wanted to let you know about a couple of sites you might like since your a new blogger (I am too and someone told me about them and they helped a lot). The first is a blog that will help you a lot with your posts and design if you want to eventually play around with it (it also has a good post on blog etiquette-there's a whole blog world out there!)

the other is a networking blog- it's for women but I still think it might be good for you to check out. All the bloggers on there are looking for support and to meet people. M-F they always have a featured blooger (fb) and I've found some amazing blogs to follow that way.

Might surprise you at how good it is, I know that is what happened to me! Some of my favorite meals are vegetarian! Good luck with everything, before you know it, you won't ever have to use that CPAP machine again!!
